5-й урок в тематическом блоке «Молодежь и общество». При проектировании урока учитывался уровень сформированности языковых навыков и развития речевых умений учащихся, их психологические особенности. Все задания имеют коммуникативную направленность.

Цель урока: развитие навыков говорения на основе полученной информации в рамках изучения темы «Молодёжь и общество».
Задачи урока
Образовательная: содействовать развитию навыков говорения посредством совершенствования навыков восприятия и понимания речи на слух и навыков чтения.
Воспитательная: способствовать формированию у учащихся нравственных ценностных ориентаций.
Развивающая: содействовать развитию умения правильно обобщать данные и делать выводы.
Оборудование: наглядный материал, планшеты, компьютер.
Дидактическое оснащение: учебник «English 10. Student’s book» (Н.В.Демченко, Э.В.Бушуева, Т.Ю.Севрюкова, Н.В.Юхнель); дидактические и раздаточные материалы, видеофильмы.

I Организационно-мотивационный этап
Приветствие. Введение в тему. Постановка цели и задач урока. Мотивация учащихся к деятельности на достижение цели урока.

Учащиеся смотрят несложный фильм о волонтёрах и отвечают на вопросы учителя, чтобы потом было легче понять текст для чтения и выйти на этап обсуждения проблемы. На доске вопросы к видео и слова-подсказки соответствующего цвета для ответа (Appendix 2).
Развитие навыков чтения
– Let’s read the text about volunteering. Ex.1, p. 117. Each of you will read only one paragraph, then tell us about it. We will guess which of the volunteer projects in you are speaking about.
Учащиеся читают только об одном волонтёрском проекте, рассказывают о нём, все остальные подбирают ему название из списка на доске (Appendix 3).

Развитие навыков монологической речи учащихся с использованием интеллектуальных карт
– It’s time to sum up. Create a mind-map using the information which you have just learnt. You must explain why volunteering is important, what spheres of social life volunteers can take part in and what you are planning to do in this direction.
