Развитие навыков говорения в рамках изучения темы «Обычаи и традиции Республики Беларусь и стран изучаемого языка».

Класс: 8

Цель: развитие навыков говорения в рамках изучения темы «Обычаи и традиции Республики Беларусь и стран изучаемого языка».

Задачи:

образовательная: способствовать развитию навыков говорения на основе прочитанного текста;

развивающая: создать условия для развития коммуникативных навыков через разнообразные виды речевой деятельности;

воспитательная: содействовать формированию патриотических чувств, уважению традиций и обычаев нашей родной страны.

Прогнозируемый результат: предполагается, что к концу учебного занятия учащиеся смогут рассказать о праздниках Республики Беларусь.

Задачи для учащихся:

– учить высказывать свою точку зрения на английском языке;
– учить применять полученные знания на практике;
– учить работать в парах и группах.

Оборудование: мультиборд, доска, мел.

Дидактическое оснащение: учебник «Еnglish 8 Student’s book (Л.М.Лапицкая), фото праздников, раздаточный материал.

Ход урока

I Организационный момент. Введение в тему урока и определение целей

– Good afternoon, dear girls and boys! Sit down, please. How are you today? I am very glad to see you in a good mood. So, let’s start our work.

II Речевая зарядка. Совершенствование навыков говорения

Look at the screen, please. Read this saying and express your opinion about it.

 “So many countries, so many customs and traditions.” (Учащиеся выражают своё мнение).   

III Введение в тему урока. Определение целей

Look at the screen, please. There are different photos on it.  (На экране представлены фото белорусских праздников).

How can these pictures connected with our topic”? (Приложение 1)

– We have already spoken about holidays in different countries.

– Today we are going to speak about Belarussian holidays und special days.

IV Проверка домашнего задания

– Let’s check up your homework. What was your hometask for today? You were to read the text und answer the questions on the text.    

1. Why are some holidays in Great Britain called bank holidays?
2. Are all English bank holidays of religious origin?
3. What are the aspects of celebrating Christmas?
4. On what day do people send love cards?

V Основной этап урока. Развитие навыков чтения                                                      

a) Предтекстовый этап. Снятие языковых трудностей

Now we are going to read the text. Take the cards on your desks.

– What is the text about?

– What Belarussian holidays, customs and tradition do you know? Read and answer the question on the text

1. Where do the roots of Belarussian culture come from?
2. What are the two kinds of holidays that people observe in Belarus?

b) Текстовый этап. Чтение текста

– Read the text and say what holidays are most popular in our country? (Приложение 2)

с) Послетекстовый этап. Контроль понимания прочитанного текста. Развитие навыков говорения

1) – Say if the sentences are true to the text or false. (Приложение 2)

2) Совершенствование навыков говорения. Работа в парах

– Imagine that your British friend have got a letter from Belarus about Belarusian holidays but the part of information is missing. You will work in pairs. Your task is to find out and fill in the missing information. (Приложение 3)

Физкульминутка                                                                            

A relaxation break.

– It’s time for relaxation break. Stand up, please. Turn the left, turn the right. The cards with the names of the month are hung in the classroom. Choose a month you like pronounce it and name the holiday (holidays) corresponding to this month.

Well done. Thank you. Take your places.

3) Работа в группах                                                                             

– Let’s continue our lesson.  Speak about celebrating holidays in our country.

Work in groups. Invent your day to celebrate. Present your day to the class.
